6 Simple Deep-Cleaning Bathroom Tips
From soap scum and mildew to dirt and hair, there's no argument that the bathroom is often the dirtiest room in the house. But it's also the busiest, which means it can be hard to keep clean. With our six easy deep-cleaning bathroom tips, you can make quick work of what's likely your least favorite chore. Take on this list all at once or divide and conquer through the week.
Clean the Cleaner
After scrubbing the toilet with our Toilet Bowl Brush & Caddy, let the brush drip-dry by closing the toilet seat on the handle. No more nasty water in the caddy! Pour some disinfectant into the caddy to minimize the germ factor.
Steam and Swipe
Spray countertops, walls, and ceiling with an all-purpose cleaner. Turn on the shower until steam builds. Turn off the water, shut the door on your way out, and let the steam and the cleaner mix for 20 minutes. Wipe down all surfaces with a dry Antibacterial Sponge and the ceilings and walls with a dry Wonder® Mop
Tackle the Toilet
If you live with (or are) a messy male, it's a good idea to scrub around and on the base of the toilet. Instead of getting down on your hands and knees to scrub, use our No Knees Floor Scrub along with some bleach or hardworking soap.
Keep mirrors fog-free after cleaning with shaving foam. Spray it on lightly, wipe it away with our Window Squeegee, and then buff the mirror with a lint-free cloth until the glass is streak-free. A squeegee also works well to prevent mildew build-up on tile after a shower.
Scrub the Tub
Take the work out of scrubbing the tub with our Tile & Tub Scrub. Its ergonomic handle makes it easy to get into all the nooks and crannies of your bathtub and shower. This is a great task to do last because you can rinse off right after!
