Quality Manager (ON-SITE)

Summary/Objective

This position is responsible for establishing a quality system and team that promotes customer enthusiasm and that positively impacts the performance of the company.  This position plays a key role in the design, production and continuous improvement of all products. 

 

Essential Functions

  • Oversee effective implementation of the Quality Management System throughout the company
  • Serve as the primary quality control resource for problem identification, resolution, and implementation.
  • Assist a multi-department team in new product development.
  • Access the risk of manufacturing new products and work with suppliers and outside resources to mitigate risk.
  • Manage a team of individuals to ensure Libman quality is upheld to the highest standard.
  • Work with suppliers to troubleshoot and correct supply chain interruptions.
  • Work with Purchasing to review and sign off on all purchased components. 
  • Sign off and establish specifications for internal produced parts.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5+ years experience in manufacturing quality.
  • Problem-solving certification in Shainin or Six Sigma
